Hi, I'm Jean and I am so glad you've stopped by! I started this blog in March 2012 with the desire to catalog the different sewing and crafting projects I was working on. I first learned how to sew through a church ministry called Caring Quilters, where a few patient ladies taught me how to sew simple lines and my first quilt. I loved how the quilts that we made brought joy and comfort to children in need. From that point on, I have been teaching myself with the help of all those great tutorials out there on the web. It has been fun, but definitely challenging at times, and I know there is so much more for me to learn.
